Urinal cake

i work at a church as the custodian and the urinal cake on the shorter urinal always smells... what can i do to get rid of the smell??? o and it looks nasty too.

tell them to purchase urinal screens or to buy air fresheners

It's not the urinal cake that smells rather all the gunk that collects on it. There is an alternative using a screen that has odor control impregnated into it. http://www.baxtersales.com/catalog/c...FRP-WDS10AC-BX

We use in some of our accounts as the abocve poster said.
screens that have the odor control impregnated.

You can also use an enzyme urinal block such as this- http://www.globalindustrial.com/p/pl....campaignId=WI

Controls odors and helps keep the pipes clean.
