Caprem I believe that your concern is warrented. I would draft a release and ask that this property management sign it then keep a copy on file in your records for your insurance company just in case. We have to cover our own butts every step of the way, otherwise someone somewhere will find a way to bite us in em - LOL |

Plug in air fresheners I recently picked up a new property management company and we will be doing all the carpet cleaning, window cleaning and general move in/out cleaning. Included with the general cleaning the management company requires that we install 3 plug in type air fresheners. My concern is the possible fire hazard with plug in air fresheners I sure don’t want to be liable for a house that burned down. I’m not sure if it would be my liability or the management company’s. Should I have the management company sign some kind of release? Any thoughts would be appreciated |
