nwman It would only be annual cleaning from what I have researched. I forgot to post it on this thread but the stations are around 40'x90' [3600+sqft] plus the pad on top of the fuel tanks. So you think $2500 would be a middle of the road estimate given all the parameters [quality work, reclaiming the water, etc...]? If that's the case I'm going to pursue this contract with my full attention.

PressurePros That depends upon the frequency of cleaning and the square footage. $2500 annually for monthly cleaning is okay. $1800 is a little low. Your hurdle is going to be to convince the company that them spending $91,000 more per year with your company will benefit them. There are guys out here that sell on price (as low as $.03 per s/f).

Age old question: How much? [130+ Gas stations]

I have connections with a large gas station chain that stretches from CA to WA. I'm trying to get an idea of what I can charge for the work [per station]. They are all relatively built the same except some have a few more pumps then others. I heard they paid $1800 per station over 3 years ago but their contractor(s) fell apart. They require the water to be reclaimed and handled [probably just dumped in the sewer].

About me: I have a window and gutter cleaning company and if I can get this contract I would be going into the pressure washing business. I'm located in WA state. I would need to buy all new appropriate equipment for these jobs. I'll start another thread about what I would need for equipment.

The stations are about 12 pumps in 6 lanes. With canopy.

I was thinking of biding $2500 per station avg. which would include everything but tax. With me and 1 employee and the right equipment I don't see it taking more then 4hrs of actual work time to clean. Setup, break down, and disposal of the wast water should take around 2+hrs.

So would a price range of $2000-2500 be in the right ball park or too much? Thanks for your input.

Tim
