That is a nice little money maker. Going bigger (gpm) allows you to get your work done much faster. I bought that unit going from 4 to 4.6 to 5.5. 9 Months later I built a 10 gpm machine and it is no contest, I can clean a $100 driveway in 20 minutes.

RalphQ At least 8 gpm. Minimum 2500 psi. Keep in mind you lose 300 psi per 100 feet of hose.

dwhitson23 If I had to do it all over again (and had the money to do so) I'd buy an 8 GPM machine. I purchased a 4 GPM machine from Bob at Pressuretek and my surface cleaner struggles a bit with it. Now for house washing it's great, but you'll be able to walk faster with a surface cleaner with a larger GPM machine. I'm actually going to test a smaller surface cleaner with mine this weekend to see how it does.

hema76 These machines can make quick work of many outdoor cleaning jobs. Here's how to choose the best type of pressure washer for your home.

White Magic Triton DS Truck Mount

Is this machine worth $3000? It was professionally removed and winterized from a Sprinter Van.
It has been listed on E-Bay Classifieds for about a year with no interest. Where can I sell this machine that is taking up valuable warehouse room at a shop in Holbrook, NY(Long Island) 11741? Call 631-567-9092 Michael

Rapid HotClean If you're going to clean concrete you'll want hot water. It'll save you a lot of time, which means more $!

Bergman's Pressure Wash After 23 years in this business in Florida, I have had most everything.
My favorite of all [ I have 8 machines all running fine right now] is my 18HP Vanguard, with a TS2021 5.6 gpm pump, belt driven.
But, I would not suggest you go below 4gpm and 13hp for running a business. The direct drive machines are a poor choice for all but homeowners, as opposed to belt drive and secondly gear drive.

Roof Cleaning by A&E I bought a 5.6 hydrotech and have no problems with it. I bought it from CPW Equipment.

fullblast 8 GPM is about the best.

minman I wouldn't buy anything smaller than an 8GPM machine. 8GPM puts out the best water flow for washing houses.

Pressure washer choices

I am looking to buy a pressure washer come spring. I have a small 2900 PSI honda pull behind. I am looking to have one mounted in the truck. What do you guys recommend. How many gpm? how much PSI. I want something that will rinse siding in no time, and also be able to hook up to a surface cleaner.

Thanks,
Dan
