Grout cleaning tips
1. Remove surface dirt & grime
The first thing you should do when faced with filthy shower grout is give it a good once-over.
Use limescale remover spray, and the rough side of a sponge with lots of fairy liquid. This will remove the surface dirt, living mould and leave you with only the mould that's in the grout itself, which we're going to talk about tackling next.
2. Bleach it up
The next step is slightly more intricate but still shouldn't take too long. All you need is bleach and an old, hard-bristled toothbrush and you'll be ready to clean your grout. Pour 2 parts undiluted bleach into a small container, and add 1 part water. Ensure your rubber gloves are on and open all available windows to help ventilate the area. Dip the toothbrush into the bleach solution, then, beginning from up high, lightly scrub the grout with the brush. Go over each section of grout thoroughly so that the bleach seeps deep into the grout.
Once you've covered the entire area, leave to sit for 30 minutes.
3. Scrub your grout once more
In order to really remove those blackened grout stains, you want to scrub the grout for a second time. There's no need to add any more bleach, a damp toothbrush will do. This will help the bleach penetrate ever deeper into the grout, killing mould and removing any stains.
4. Rinse the shower thoroughly
While amazing at cleaning, bleach isn't particularly skin-friendly. To ensure nobody suffers from any irritation during their next bath or shower, it's extremely important to wash the solution away thoroughly.
Wet the entire shower with the shower head, and use the rough side of the sponge to remove bleach residue. Use lots of water to ensure the tiles and bathtub are completely clean.
5. Give it time
If your grout is still looking grimier than you'd like, be patient. Over the next few hours, the grout will continue to whiten until it really does become completely transformed.

Tile and grout cleaning tips
Beautifully arranged tiles symbolize the classic and stylish mindset of the people who own the building. They also signify the aesthetic sense of the people. Of course, all this can happen only if your tiles (and grout) are clean and clear from all stains and shining like stars. Dirty tiles and grout (filling the lines between the tiles) with a lot of stains and tints are not liked by anyone. You cannot really buy and install new tiles every other month.
The ultimate choice with you left is to keep them clean regularly and habitually. If you have not done it frequently, then you need extensive cleaning. This involves a complete process that is long and complex. With some effort, you can also do it yourself. We will first explain how you can do it yourself.
Cleaning Your Tiles
The process of cleaning the tiles (grout filling the narrow space between the tiles) yourself needs your focus and some resources. Everything is abundantly available in the market. Here are a few steps to follow:
" First of all carryout dry dusting of the floor having tiles with simple brush.
" Carryout washing with suitable detergent or use some of the solutions.
" The easiest way to make your own cleaning solution for tiles is to dilute a mixture of vinegar and baking soda in water.
" Leave the solution on the tiles for some time to fully dissolve the build-up, and then it should be wiped off with a damp fine cloth.
" A more powerful homemade alternative involves a paste of bleach and soda bicarbonate which acts as a bleach.
" Bleach functions as a disinfectant and will whiten your tiles back to their original tone
" Once you decide to use bleach then work carefully in a well-ventilated area with gloves and possibly a mask.
" After applying the mixture, leave it on for at least one hour before washing it off.
" Lastly wash it and let the tiles get dried.
" Carryout polishing of your tiles for that ultimate shine.
" Tiles can also be sealed for ultimate results.
Cleaning the Grout
Due to its placement between the narrow gaps between the tiles, grout is more difficult to clean than simple tiles. It needs more time, more effort and a little more focus. Following are a few steps to follow:
" Start cleaning grout by washing those with water and a brush.
" Simply spray warm water on the grout lines and scrub in a circular motion and then let it dry.
" For complex cleaning, try using baking soda and water and then spray some vinegar solution and scrub with a brush and rinse with plain water.
" For tougher stains and really dirty grout, use oxygen bleach as a grout cleaner.
" Chlorine bleach and commercial cleansers can also be used carefully in extreme cases to clean grout.
" Cleaning with steam can also be very effective way of cleaning grout.
" Last but not the least wash grout with plain water and let it dry.
