Powerful Grease Remover

Mix baking soda with vinegar and lime juice to create an even more powerful grease remover. Not to mention that this will make a nice "green cleaning product".

Carpet Cleaning with Baking Soda

I use baking soda to clean carpets daily.

in the right amounts you can mix baking soda, soda ash, and citric acid, to have a neutral ph, very high carbon dioxide content and it just cleans carpets so nicely.

there are a few patents on the mixture,,,, so simple a patient seems funny, but Harris research who started chem dry, owns a patient, and so does Carbonated Solutions, another carpet cleaning franchise.

So hats off to sodium bi-carbonate, the amazingly simple yet effective cleaner:thumbup:

Yes, I completely agree with your post. All the tips you have provided are very effective and useful. Its always good to use baking soda to clean the kitchen cabinets and counters. The stove and refrigerator will come out sparkling. Baking soda is a mild abrasive, so check for wear on “soft” paints and varnishes.

Thank for the information!

I already heard about that but I still didn't try it!
I think it is even a good method to try to contaminate as little as possible!

I agree with the above uses, but please be careful when using around marble surfaces. Baking Soda is pH 9 and can cause damage to polished calcium based stones like marble, travertine and some polished limestones.

These look fantastic tips. Baking soda is great for a number home remedies and cleaning uses, and baking soda makes a fantastic non abrasive cleanser for cleaning dried grease spatters from the stove, and other kitchen appliances. The baking soda won't scratch appliances, and it will leave them naturally clean and fresh.
