Office cleaning can become a lucrative business, properly pricing your cleaning jobs is key to success. You don't want to price cleaning jobs too low, and you don't want to price jobs higher than the competition.

Commercial Cleaning Price Sheet

Hello,

I have been running a residential cleaning company for about a year now and I want to get more commercial work. The workers comp is cheaper and its seems more profitable.

I have been getting bid invitations, but cant seem to get my pricing right. If anyone in the US, specifically the western US, is willing to share their average price sheet for commercial jobs I would greatly appreciate it. It would simply help me get an idea of where to bid.

Just for some more background I lost four bids this last month. Two offices around 2,500 sq ft each, a multi-office 10,000 sq ft and a high end retail store of 15,000 sq ft.

If no price sheets are available, any tips would be very helpful.

Thanks in advanced!

I just visit your forum and found very innovative ideas and tips are there. I agree with you that Lots of cleaning company is using toxic & hazard products while clean the offices which is harmful for your health. But nowadays, every janitorial service firm is going green, which means instead of using injurious chemicals, they are using eco-friendly products or green chemicals for cleaning, as green cleaning products and materials are safe for you and your environment, therefore, in my opinion you should go for green cleaning as they are safer for both your employees and environment.

The natural product users

Yes, I agree with you but not all the companies use these toxic chemicals. Their are some companies who use natural cleaning substances as well. We use these guys from pathway cleaning for our restaurant duct cleaning services and they always use natural products as we need to pass the TR 19.

I have a question for you all. Just HOW do you know, for sure, that a product you use is truly environmentally safe?????? Here in the USA our government supposedly checks products out, but I for one dont trust them. They have a track record of missing issues like this and approve a product that is NOT truly "green."

I absolutely agree with you, this is why I always confirm with my service provider the safety measures in place for their cleaning. Of all the service providers that I have worked with, only Mr. Homecare has been able to assure me of a completely safe service that is not environmentally harmful.

I am finding it a bit strange that no one here, so far, has responded to my question. How the heck do you KNOW a product is truly safe??? If you blindly trust what is on the labels, you will be sadly mislead. You might find out, eventually, that the stuff you have been using is NOT really eco-friendly or chemically safe. Are you guys doing your research??? Where are you finding that information?

I really do want to know, I am not just hassling you. I, too, use some products I wonder about, and finding really reliable information has been difficult. In MY business, I want to protect myself from harm, AND my customers (and their pets!)

I totally agree with you. Finding the correct restoration company is a tough job. I luckily contacted D’Sapone – a tile and grout restoration company, to restore my floor before 2 years. They did their job without causing any damage to the tile and grout and still my floor looks new. I went through their website, they only use green products manufactured by pFOkUS. They also offered me a 5 year labor warranty. For more information, visit https://www.dsapone.com/.

Have you ever wondered how many toxic products are used when an office space is clean? Now, saying that a thousand million and perhaps gallons of hazardous chemicals is injected into the bath to wash the floor and thrown down the drain. Why gallons of hazardous products really match the commercial cleaning, it is important to consider the ecological and environmentally friendly products.
Exactly! It's very crucial to use eco-friendly products for your home and office cleaning, both. I have hired a professional office cleaning services for my office, who use completely non-toxic products!

I have come across this article, a lady who is giving feedback on office cleaning - https://www.mrhomecare.in/uncategorized/helping-radhika-office-cleaning/

Hope it helps! Cheers!
