Hello everyone

Does anyone have in contracts or dealings with cleaning condominiums? The reason I am asking is a lot of people in our team in our business clean condominiums in there area. Granted most us probably are not near the condos, but if you are, there is a wonderful opportunity. We own a condo so we know how owners are willing to pay outside companies to come in and clean, rather then pay the resort to do the job. If you want to know more, just email me and I will tell you the best place to try to find owners in your area.

New Construction Cleaning business

Hi everyone,
My husband and I recently started a cleaning business in the Tidewater area of Virginia. We want to specialize in New construction cleanup. Any tips on getting these types of jobs? Also since it is only the two of us right now are we going to need workers comp insurance if we want to work with contractors and Home builders? We have liability insurance for $1 million dollars. Is this enough? Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!:)

Welcome Desilu :D

regarding your question on workman's comp - I don't know of a general contractor or builder who will allow any contractor to come onto the job site without their own workman's comp policy. If they did and an accident happened the claims would go against their policy and they just are not having that. I know it is a pain since it is only you and your wife and normally you would not need a policy but bite the bullet, get one, get the jobs and then write off the expense on your taxes as a business deduction
