Hello everyone,

This may sound like a dumb question but what is the difference between rough cleaning, final cleaning and touch up?

I'm pretty clear on touch up and a little on final cleaning, but rough cleaning is unclear, do you have to clean left over 2x4, drywall and such? including renting dumpsters?

Any help would be apprecitaed.

ROUGH CLEAN: is usually performed as the home is still in the building process, before carpets and flooring are installed. The work usually includes trashing out the excess construction materials left by all trades, and shop vaccuming the floors.

FINAL CLEAN: is usually done when all trades are finished with their work. This is the major cleaning of the home to remove all dust, debris, labels, etc. making the home ready for move in.

FLUFF/MAKE READY/ TOUCH UP CLEAN: These cleanings are not always required by all contractors, but if the home sits for awhile or gets alot of traffic from potential buyers the contactor may ask that you go in and do a light cleaning in order to keep the home up to specs.
