Who cleans filters? Or do you use a filter exchange program?
If you clean them are you cleaning them out back of the building or in the sink?

I clean filters set up dip and spray. Most (90%) of my accounts clean they're filters weekly. after I suggest (subtle command)they see the value. And all my Chinese accounts clean they're filters every 3 days .
I am leaning toward filter exchange thu.

Yeah I have been to both. I really don't like Hazel Park anymore. It seems to be going south. Lets just say there isn't a place that I haven't been to.

Family was saying it kind of rough in Hazel Park last few years. I was out visiting family and it seemed real nice .......but then again i grew up in Highland Park. Everything seems like a picnic to me since.

Yeah alot of the areas are getting pretty rough. It seems like people move from Detroit area and the people from areas North just move north to another City. This keeps going on unitl they run out of cities to move to. End up in the UP with mooses. Hazel park is good for the Horse Race Track I guess. Other than that I stay out of it. Have you priced the filter exchange around you and who does it?

The Phx market you can get 2-3 bucks on exchange...the filters cost $24 and up...not feasible.
not at this stage of the game for me at least.

So who else cleans filters as part of the job? I know of some who consider it a seperate job, I will include it as part of regular service.

unless otherwise specified by the owner / employees (some of our customers rock and throw their filters through the dishwasher daily .. bless them) other than that we have a unit my boss designed ( I think he did at least) put the filters in .. they sit there .. you spray them .. the water drains into the bottom and then its getting full you stop and plug in a pump which pumps the water into a barrel ... we dump out wastewater in it too .. personally i wish we had some better easier less time consuming and non back breaking form of disposing of the wastewater ... other than carry a garbage can full of water out to the truck every time the bucket gets full , really lame it is .

Why do you take the waste water with you? Is that a BC ruling? Why not dump it in the drain? That is what the resturant does w/their waste water. Depending on what chemicals you use and how much, the greasy water should not be plugging up the drain pipe.

yes its a Victoria BC thing .. captitol regional district .. aka CRD . is cracking down on it because we , unlike other places , dump our raw sewage into the ocean (which is no secret) and the CRD is cracking down on anything with a high PH level ... and other things in the water too .. so it has to go to a treatment facility before it goes into the ocean .. soon we will even have to collect the water from all the fans we do .. this is like a nightmare you've never had before .. carrying garbage buckets of water to the truck .. so lame . so time consuming:censored:
