Depending on what type of account you are looking for. There are many ways to get new accounts. We prefer medical professional because they have money and don't mind spending it on our service.

We will usually call and ask to speak to the person in charge of their cleaning. If we can't speak to that person, we ask if we can send some info, about our cleaning service. The gatekeeper usually says yes. We than ask who it should be put attention to. Shazam, we will get a name. We then send a sales letter to the decision maker and follow up with a call, a few days later. We ask to come and give a free estimate. Once we get there, we have a better than 50% chance of landing the account.

Getting New Business.

The BEST way I have found to get new business is to make up a flyer promotes your cleaning in short detail. Then on a Sunday or in the evening when shops and businesses are closed, put the flyers on one hundred business doors. The next day when they open call each business and introduce yourself and your services sighting the flyer as a reference. Your goal is to get a YES while you are on the phone, be ready to negociate.

I been in business for 22 years and this technique has got me tons of new business. Be ready because neighboring businesses will be asking you about doing their offices, etc..............Don't forget to contract out business they you yourself may not do, such as Professional Window Cleaning.

Be Blessed,

I would also offer a free demo so the decision maker can see your cleaning results and both of you know what to expect. Remember to try to down play results and exceed their expectations!

Agreed. Calling is the best practise.
