I post the following as encouragement to others.

I want my fellow contractors that learning from these internet cowboys / instructors that are making 2-8 cents a foot is not necessary the ones you want to learn from. Some of these guys are so busy posting their jobs for all to see. One of the reasons why they are so busy is because their pricing is undercutting their competition. These guys are so low, that profit margins are in the 5-15% range. In my opinion, that is not the best way to make a profit. You would need your GROSS income to be in the millions for that to work for you. This is What I call the Walmart approach. Working 6 am to 9 pm everyday and never feel you are getting ahead.

Below is what I was asked to do to prove what I have been saying is true...That you can work 30 days a year and NET more money than those who are doing the Walmart approach working 80 hours a week.

So here is my story...

Someone once said...

Jim, Prove that you can make what you say you can make... That is, $310,000 in 9 days

So I show Checks,

Then they say it is Photoshop...

So I ask how can I prove to you that it is possible to make 310,000 in just (9) days?

Their response....

If you can make that kind of money, then Show me the money. Put the money on the table for all of us to see and do not get $100 bills. ( You can buy Fake stage money in $100 bills on Amazon) ...So I did just that.

$140,000+ is on the table in $50 bills...

You want to know how I can make that?

Go to the www.ProfessionalWashingNetwork.com event in Las Vegas. May 4-5, 2018.

Nice setup. Well done, but after 27 years specialising in one field of cleaning you would expect the best gear.
Unfortunately the entry level price of equipment is far in excess of the little guys though.
Even if taking the plunge we have larger companies that will just do one for free to get the contract.

When I started 28 years ago, I had the same thing going on. I was the new guy on the block and others tried to shut us down with pricing and impressive equipment.

There are ways to sell your product ( Service ) and maneuver better than those big companies.

I had the competition start to offer pricing at 1/4 of ours, yet I still won the bid.

Here, more recently, I won a bid where I was the most expensive bid on a City wide contract. I was more expensive by 30k and I still won the bid.

Want to know how....

Perhaps you should come to the event and ask me face to face. Ask me just how I not only won while being the most expensive, but how I won over the competition as well.

Below is the article showing us cleaning the garage.

At the PWN Event in Las Vegas, we will have several techniques on how to sell to a wide variety of customers.

NO ONE PERSON has all the answers.

That is why the PWN acquired only those instructors who had achieve success... to have these elite instructors to teach Marketing and/ or Sales at the event.

Yes,

We made that and more, but it was not always like that.

I always see some guy calling himself an expert only after he started in Parking Garage Cleaning 5-7 years ago and only after attending my class.

Attending my 8 hr class does not make anyone an expert.

You must learn as you go along with setting your bar to a reachable height.
