Quartz Countertop - Striations in stone

I am looking for a solution to remove strange striations in a quartz countertop. It looks like a cleaning chemical may have soaked into the stone and damaged it...no matter how much cleaning I do, I can't get the countertop to look fresh and new again.

Does anyone have any suggestions -- or seen this before?
