Hi there,

My wife and I are starting a house cleaning business in California and we plan on hiring cleaners. Is there a standard independent contractor agreement for cleaners in CA?

Congrats on your new business!

I don't think there is a standard independent contractor agreement, a lot of it is just templates online that you can use/modify for your needs, but it never hurts to check with state laws in CA regarding your business.

Just make sure to notify your insurance, bond, workman's comp, etc. of your new employees and have a payroll system set up.

You don't need a certain contract with the cleaners, just make sure to have all the papers for your business in order and you're good. If everything is okay, then you can your business with no worries, and everything will be fine. This article will be useful for you licensecost.com, you will find all the required information and it will make the process easier. The prices are shown as well, because some people don't even know about it until is too late.

It doesn’t matter if you have the best product in the market and your meetings go flawlessly — if you don’t reconnect with the prospect afterward, the opportunity for a sale can slip right through your fingers. In fact, 80% of sales require at least 5 follow-ups.

It took me a long time to find a good extension for my online business. But luckily I was advised by the m2 blog from Amasty which provides a customizable and easy-to-use platform to create and manage your blog page. It has helped me attract my clients and increase the visibility of my site with regular content updates.
