I use godaddy. I know there is better stuff out there but is it worth it for me to switch to a different host?
Depends on which platform at Godaddy. If you're using their Wordpress hosting, you should be okay -but their servers tend to be slow (which can cost you). If you're using their webbuilder platform - I'd move to a better hosting company. While we were building our Orlando hood cleaning site, we found that speed makes a difference to SEO - so we moved prohoodcleaners.com to the fastest server we could afford to rent.

You can test your server with some simple tools to see if your hosting is holding you back. Then you need to make sure that your website is optimized from a marketing standpoint and an SEO standpoint.

Making a website is not a big deal anymore, using free platforms like Shopify or WordPress. Even basic site configuration is pretty manageable. Further development is a real challenge. Most of the e-commerce newcomers can't figure out why their site is half-dead after a few months. A proper SEO matter a lot, as a site's popularity is what makes your business alive. But again, you can find plenty of basic guides on how to achieve it. For advanced purposes, I would recommend using e-commerce development services, such as transformagency. A professional touch is never for the worse.
