my experience as a professional cleaner is that vacuums just dont hold up that well anymore. I usually just purchase a cheap $60 vacuum from home depot. as a professional, I am used to having to pick up all sorts of junk stuck in the carpets, so I don't want to spend a ton of money on a vacuum that could potentially get ruined.
Try thamtu robot vacuum for carpet, great suction, should perform well on carpets.

Hoovers have always done great for us!
I use HoLife Stick Vacuum and Handheld Vacuum #7 here https://houseandbeyond.org/best-corded-stick-vacuum/ very comfortable and not overpriced (like Dyson). I can vacuum in hard to reach places and even my car with a handheld vacuumю When I bought it, the price was no higher than 200$
