I'll need to check that out. Seems a bit strange how their costing process works.
Yahoo has a bid process that ranks listings...the more you bid for a particular search term, the higher your listing will rank.
I'm not quite sure what you mean. It is very similar I just find better results from Google for some reason.
Technically Yahoo gets more traffic than Google by quite a bit.

Wow. I was looking at Yahoo (which I never use) and I'm the #2 listing for "roof cleaning gainesville". Woohoo!
I'm also the #1 listed PW company for "pressure washing gainesville" and #11 for "pressure cleaning gainesville".
Sounds like I need to add "pressure cleaning" to a few spots on the main page!!!

I tried the adwords for google. I now am at the top for yahoo and google without it. I just the keywords in my site, and also have alot of free listing on the web. I was just curious what was up with the ad listing. I have never heard of it and I figured it was like many sites I see. Like Mike metioned I don't want another guy on my page. Oh wait none of my competitors advertise or have websites I checked LOL.

Yea, I think Yahoo does a better job than google of finding key words on your site and placing it where it blongs.
Google drives me nuts.

In my view .com domain is very much useful that .net. There are lots of benefits of using this kind of domain. First of all it will look very professional than using .net and could create good impression to visitor of your site.

.com is the best, most folks will default to that when typing in an address...though .net is becoming more common.

Like everyone said .com is best without a doubt.
However, my recent research shows if you have a unique .net name, then googling it will come up too, especially if the searchers are local to where the listed address of the business is. Google has become incredibly smart at making sense of results, much to the anger of many old style SEO experts.
The keyword here is "unique name", so "ZebZabZoobJanitorial.net" NOT "BobSmithJanitorial.net". Also, it's best to have the word janitorial or cleaning in the name.
Lastly, I recently switched from Godaddy to Google domains for registration and couldn't be happier. Not least of all, they don't charge for every little extra.
P.S. I don't think the above two sites actually exists, LOL.

.COM are generally intended to be used for commercial businesses, which is why they're the most commonly seen domains in the United States. Domains ending with .NET are usually intended for networking services and internet service providers such as Comcast or AT&T's residential email addresses.
