This question gets asked many times when starting a business. Where do I go to find out what I need in my state as far as licensing. I checked all links and they all seem to work fine. This should help with state by state links. Hope this helps anyone trying to start up.

Excellent resource!!

I know in FL, there is no licensing for PW contractors. What about other cleaning trades? For PW, you'd simply go to your local county and/or city government entity and apply for a license. In my county (which is small) they do it all in one office...D/L, business license, tax assessor, etc. $10.00/year.

Same with Painting in Florida. It's nice because it's easy to get your business going but later on you realize it's easy for everyone to get in business and you end up with a lot of losers out there.
