What is your Internet connection speed? Are you on DSL, Cable, or Dial-up?

I think that anyone running a business now a days needs a broadband connection but I know that some still can't get high speed.

Holy crap! 54mbps? That is the fastest I've heard of except for some fiber to the home/curb neighborhoods. You have DSL that fast?

I think I'm on a 3mbps plan for $29.99/month.

Cable.

It's supposed to be a 300 Mbps connection but the real world number is only 100 Mbps.

I also use Vonage.
Anybody else?
300/100? Man, I'm getting screwed if you guys are getting those speeds.

I had Vonage for a while and I hated it. I know I seem to be the only one but I had a really bad time with it.
Here is my rant about it on ContractorTalk.com: http://www.contractortalk.com/showpost.php?p=100315&postcount=7

Cable.

It's supposed to be a 3 megabit per second connection but the real world number is only 2 megabits per second.

I also use Vonage.
Anybody else?

The "NEW" AT&T buisness DSL for me up to 3mbps but usually 2150mbps avg. uplaod 384.The normal DSL package is up to 1.5 mbps

DSL is the way to go if you can cause cable can still get bogged down down the pipeline at heavy traffic times.

Dial up drives me crazy if i'm ever using it not at home.

Don, you have to run this. I want to see what your speed really is. I don't doubt you but I think your telco is full of crap.

Not much different but I wanted to make sure you weren't actually getting 54mbps. That would have been very fast indeed.
