Thanks Shane... maybe we will have you in a chat once we get it up and running.

BTW, do you know what telco/cable company works in Austin? I'm moving there in the fall so I'm curious what my internet options will be.

I would just like to state for the record that I think my slow connection is what is keeping me from beating everyone in the arcade ;)

DSL/54mpbs here.

Don probably looked at his Wireless Router and saw the thoroughput for the wireless marked '54mpbs'. That means if you have a Wireless G card in your laptop, then you computer talks to the router at a top rate of 54mbps. Ok ok, I AM a computer guy, but you're still my hero Don!:thumbup:

As for me, I'm at 3mbps, but hopefully Bellsouth will upgrade my area soon, so I can get that 6mbps!! The 6mbps is available in some Bellsouth areas.

Many times we found problems in our internet connection or slaw speed problem. To increase your net speed, You should check this some step which I mention below :
- Go to Start-> Run-> and type gpedit.msc
- Expand the Administrative Templates branch
- Expand the Network tab
- Highlight QoS Packet Scheduler
- Click on Limit Reservable Bandwidth and check the enabled box
- Then Change the Bandwidth limit % to 0 %
Once you have done this click apply and restart your PC. After rebooting you should see a noticeable improvement in your net speed.
